1988 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA COUPE
This 1988 911 Carrera is superb example of a clean all numbers matching southwestern car. The original Guards Red paint stands up exceptionally well as does the interior and trim. Previous owners have taken care of the car and it's apparent. The car saw recent service at a local well respected shop, Ray Stephens Racing, prior to our shop acquiring at 130K miles. A substantial amount of service history was also present.
We elected to perform a complete engine and transaxle rebuild from the beginning, and freshen up the suspension and some cosmetics along the way.
The virgin 3.2L motor was rebuilt from the crankshaft out by Bobby Hart, retired Porsche engine builder and owner of CMS. All machine work was performed by well known Porsche specialists Ollies Machine Shop.
The coveted G50 5 speed transaxle which had never seen disassembly prior, was rebuilt by Shaun Hart, gearbox builder at CMS.
Documentation and records of work performed and parts replaced will be included with the sale.
