We can replace 993 1st and 2nd gear synchro teeth for a fraction of what is costs to replace the entire main shaft or gear set.  When the teeth are damaged or worn out the transmission usually won’t stay in gear and may also grind going into gear-further indicating possible synchronizer wear and shift sleeve wear.  The original teeth are machined off and new ones are welded on in house.  Turn around time is normally 1-2 days after your gear(s) are received.
