The bell housing bolt pattern is not symmetrical.  For mid engine conversions where an adapter plate is not applicable this is an effective and reliable method.  We perform this mostly on G50 and G96/50 variants.  This is the price if you send us the bare bell housing.  You may send the entire transmission but additional labor would apply.
